The most crowded smartphones segment in the Indian market is the sub-Rs 15,000 price bracket. Most of the smartphone sale contributions happen here. Since the last couple of months, the smartphone launches and sale have slowed down and also the availability of smartphones is an issue these days.
Due to the lockdown, companies are hiking smartphone prices. Realme, Samsung, and Xiaomi are the major ones to hike the prices twice in the last three months. With the change in price, now in this sub-Rs 15,000 segment, we have only a handful of devices. These are the best value for money smartphones available currently that are priced under Rs 15,000.

Camera falls short
The Samsung Galaxy M30s is the company’s mid-ranger. It brings upgrades in the camera and battery departments while retaining serviceable performance and photography. However, the software will let power users down. With a 6,000 mAh battery, the device had our expectations high, and we are glad to report that the battery life is pretty solid.
The Samsung Galaxy M30s comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The company aims to grab a piece of the highly-competitive budget segment of India, which has shown a growing preference for Chinese smartphone brands such as Redmi and Realme. Those are still better all-rounders than the M30s, but if your use case calls for extreme battery backups, plays a lot of games or is brand conscious, the M30s might be well-suited for you.
